<image:caption>As the footwear print lead my favorite projects to work on were for Womens NSW, especially premium quick strike packs. I would often design them myself but would delegate and art direct to other members of the team for larger projects. This project focused on cities around the world with embroidered designs on NSW premium silos. I personally designed the NYC and LONDON patterns while directing/ assisting the rest.</image:caption>

<image:caption>In a team of two: the Concept Director and myself we were tasked with driving concept direction for the entire category and bringing it to life through look books, videos, interior spaces, large runway style presentations for the WHQ. Meanwhile I was also still designing the apparel and footwear graphics for the category. My role as the untitled Senior Concept Designer was to work with the Concept director, the category designers, design directors and creative director. <image:title>NIKE CONCEPT DESIGN</image:title>
<image:caption>Example of a concept debut rig room. The concept team started each season with a concept room. This would then be changed and upgraded for each step in the calendar. Ie: Concept, design review, intergrated design review, company wide review in larger spaces and so on. This was a very literal way to show that the concept and designs teams were sticking to the direction set out at the beginning of each season. This room was a favorite of mine because we took the concept of translucent materials and visible architecture for apparel and footwear design to a new place by stretching fabrics over frames to create a futuristic vaulted ceiling effect. It was "just" a rig room but I loved it's beautiful simplicity.</image:caption>

<image:caption>I started my career as a graphic designer at Urban Outfitters in 2001. I was hired by then Art Director Jeremy Dean who I consider to be an amazing designer, mentor and friend. He encouraged me, gave me room to grow, make my own mistakes and taught me a staggering amount about typography, and graphic design.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Leading the design of everything music related also meant designing posters. As a printmaker this was one of my favorite projects. Working with amazing musical artists and printmakers in combination was right up my alley as a kid that grew up making punk and hardcore posters by hand.</image:caption>

I was responsible for the packaging design, type and any other art. The twist was that everything had to be approved by the Schultz family directly.</image:caption>
